Unearthed, the Uncharted of the Middle East

Ok, we all know that Uncharted and its star Nathan Drake are extremely popular nowadays much like Lara Croft back in the polygon day, but this is something else.

The Game you are going to see is Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta, with a very big resemblance to Uncharted if you take away some very bad graphics and lightning (don't forget it's in early alpha-stage demo production).

The game will focus on the intrepid fortune-hunter Faris Jawad, who receives a mysterious call to visit Morocco and embarks on a exotic adventure that will make Faris travel through the Middle East in search of the famous muslim explorer Ibn Battuta, but like all games we encounter such as this *ahem* Uncharted *ahem* Faris will have to fight his way through an unholy alliance of a militia army leader, a weapons dealer and a smuggler that won't stop at nothing to reach the same goal as our fortune-hunter.

But despite it's resemblance with other games, Unearthed will also sport online multiplayer (see video below), but perhaps the most fun and interesting fact, is that according to Kotaku, the game will be released in all current platforms except Xbox360  but further investigating the game's website, there is the Xbox Live Arcade log, so it might not be entirely true.

Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta still doesn't have a release date but be sure to check, if your really that interested in the Semaphore website
